A little about myself...

For starters, I was born and raised in Alaska, USA (the largest and greatest American state right next to Canada), and still live here. I can't see myself living in any other place, to be honest! It's the best state for hunting, camping, hiking, four wheeling; a paradise for outdoor lovers such as myself. On days when it's too cold (ahem, winter days), I cozy up inside and read some comics, do some painting and crafts, watch my favorite crime drama, or my personal favorite, work on an elaborate lego set. I'm talking well over a thousand pieces.

So what are my goals for this blog? Well, I have been offered an amazing opportunity to travel to Japan with the Christian organization Youth With A Mission, also known as YWAM. There, I will deepen my relationship with God and learn how to utilize the gifts He has blessed me with to spread the Gospel to not only the people of Japan, but other people I encounter during my lifetime. I will also experience a new culture firsthand, one I've been dying to see for many years! My hope for this blog is that readers will, in a way, be able to travel with me and experience this life-changing adventure together.
